2017 Redcat Registration Info.
(for returning Redcats, SophistiKats, siblings of 2016 Redcats/SophistiKats, and incoming Freshmen Redcats) February 1, 2017 - February 28, 2017.
This year registration will be done online. Go to www.aayfdt.org to begin the process.
Hold checks, etc. are still required to be turned in to the board before your registration is considered complete. We will send out details regarding a turn in date and time soon.

Roster positions for all teams within the AAYFDT Football League are given on a first-come first-served basis.

YOU MUST REGISTER ONLINE and ATTEND A REGISTRATION DATE! YOUR REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED COMPLETE UNTIL YOU ATTEND ONE OF THE DATES BELOW TO PROVIDE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION AND REMAINGING PAYMENTS YOU MAY OWE. FAILURE TO SUBMIT ITEMS WILL RESULT IN YOU LOSING YOUR REGISTRATION SPOT.
*NEW* FLAG FOOTBALL: Age 5-6 (as of September 1st)
Redcats: 7-12 (as of September 1st)
Freshman Team: 7 or 8 years old
Sophomore Team: 9 year olds
Junior Team: 10 year olds
Senior Team: 11 or 12 years old (new rule: cannot turn 13 before December 31st)
Junior SophistiKats: Ages 6-8
Senior SophistiKats: Ages 9-12
Bring to open registration:
•$150 registration check (sibling discount of $15 applies for each additional child registered)
•$150 fundraising check (or you have the option to participate in the fundraiser)
•$250 volunteer hold check (only cashed if volunteer commitments are not met)
•$150 equipment hold check (only cashed if equipment is not returned at the end of the season)
* Payment and Hold Checks are due at time of registration with no exceptions
* Credit cards accepted for registration fee and optional fundraising buyout
Bring to registration (new participants):
•Copy of birth certificate
•Copy of recent report card
•Copy of recent utility bill
•Photo of your child
Registration Fees & Fundraising
The registration fee for the Redcats & SophistiKats is $150. In addition, there is a mandatory fundraiser in which you will be required to raise a minimum of $150. You will have the option at registration to buy out of the fundraiser at a cost of $150 per child instead of participating in the fundraiser.
There will be a $60 uniform rental fee collected in August before game day uniforms are distributed.
Volunteer Hold Check
The AAYFDT requires that all families provide a volunteer hold check of $250. As you all know, we are a volunteer organization and we rely on our parents to make each year a success. Each year families are required to commit to a certain amount of volunteer hours. Once you have completed your required volunteer hours, your check will be returned to you.
Equipment Hold Check
The AAYFDT organization requires that all football families provide an equipment hold check per player. It will not be cashed unless you fail to turn in your child’s equipment at the end of the season.
